In a series of paintings, the artist reproduces with a mixed pictorial technique based on coffee and blood, the map of Colombia, the cities and places mainly involved in the conflict for the control of drug trafficking: Bogotà, Medellín, Caquetá, Comuna 13, Haca Nápoles.
The plan of each city is reproduced significantly as if it were a leaf whose veins evoke the intertwining of roads and communication routes. The image of the leaf invokes a relationship of ideal identification between the city, the landscape and its natural resources, however, the leaf is dry and in some cases crumpled on itself as devoid of the life-fluid.
